Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Overtime About the Role BAE Systems is seeking a Test Technician to support production mechanical and electrical assembly operations in an advanced aerospace and defense environment. In this role, you will set up test equipment, perform testing on production assemblies and units, troubleshoot equipment, and make adjustments or component replacements as needed. Responsibilities Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies and units according to established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Lay out and assemble units for production equipment based on designs and specifications. Adjust and calibrate systems as needed. Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components according to diagrams and sketches. Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts/components. Use hand tools, small power tools, and various measuring and testing instruments. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control and other quality procedures. Work effectively with team members while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required. Trade school or Associate's degree in Electronics OR at least 2 years of electronics experience. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) testing experience. Component-level troubleshooting experience. Lean manufacturing experience. Familiarity with test equipment such as: Oscilloscopes Multimeters RF analyzers Why Join Us?
