Contract Job Summary We are seeking a Test Tech II with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing testing of PCB boards , including troubleshooting and problem-solving at the component level. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PCB testing, hand soldering, test equipment, schematics, and electronic troubleshooting . Candidates should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with a production team. Key Responsibilities Set up test apparatus and conduct testing of production assemblies and units following established procedures and standards. Troubleshoot PCB assemblies and identify component-level issues. Adjust and calibrate test systems and equipment as needed. Modify equipment by adding, removing, or changing components according to diagrams and specifications. Correct malfunctions through adjustments or replacement of components. Use hand tools, small power tools, and electronic measuring/testing equipment. Monitor and verify product quality in accordance with established procedures. Read and interpret work instructions, schematics, drawings, and diagrams. Assemble production equipment and units according to designs and specifications. Work effectively with production and engineering teams. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of High School or Trade School education . At least 2 years of manufacturing experience testing PCB boards . Experience troubleshooting and problem-solving electronic assemblies. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, drawings, and diagrams. Hands-on hand soldering experience. Ability to become solder certified. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook . Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and RF analyzers . Ability to troubleshoot electronics down to the component level . Knowledge of
IPC-A-610 . J-STD
certification or experience with J-STD requirements. J-STD Modules 1, 3, and 6 preferred. Experience adjusting and calibrating test equipment. Experience replacing electronic components to correct malfunctions. Familiarity with statistical process or other quality-control procedures. Schedule & Compensation 2nd
