Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Hydro Tester / Pressure Test Technician Lofton Staffing is hiring a Hydro Tester / Pressure Test Technician for a busy industrial valve facility in Pasadena, TX . We are seeking an experienced, hands-on candidate with a background in hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, valve testing, wellhead equipment, leak testing, and industrial mechanical work . This is a great opportunity for a Hydro Tester, Pressure Tester, Valve Technician, Test Technician, or Mechanical Technician looking for a full-time, temp-to-hire position. Job Responsibilities Perform hydrostatic testing and pressure testing on industrial valves, wellhead equipment, and mechanical components. Set up and prepare equipment for hydro testing, pressure testing, and leak testing . Install and remove flanges, plugs, fittings, adapters, and other test components . Fill, pressurize, and test equipment according to established procedures, work instructions, and specifications. Monitor pressure gauges, test equipment, and pressure levels during testing. Inspect valves and components for leaks, pressure loss, defects, or mechanical issues . Identify and report failed tests, leaks, damaged components, and other quality concerns. Record and document test results, pressure readings, and inspection information accurately. Assist with the assembly, disassembly, repair, and preparation of valves and wellhead equipment . Use hand tools, mechanical tools, pressure gauges, fittings, and industrial testing equipment . Follow all applicable safety procedures, testing procedures, and quality requirements . Maintain a clean, organized, and safe industrial work area. Assist with additional valve repair, wellhead, mechanical, manufacturing, and shop duties as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as a Hydro Tester, Pressure Tester, Hydrostatic Test Technician, Valve Technician, Valve Repair Technician, Test Technician, or Mechanical Technician preferred. Experience performing hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, leak testing, valve testing, or wellhead equipment testing strongly preferred. Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with industrial equipment and mechanical components . Familiarity with pressure gauges, flanges, fittings, plugs, valves, and testing equipment . Experience in valve repair, wellhead equipment, oil and gas, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, machine shop, or mechanical assembly is a plus. Ability to read and follow work instructions, testing procedures, specifications, and job documentation . Strong attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and safety. Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical or testing issues. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and manual labor. Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment as required. Comfortable working in a manufacturing, industrial, valve shop, or wellhead facility . Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening. Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all safety requirements.
