Test / Engineering Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Test Technician to join our electronics manufacturing team. The Test Technician will perform electrical, functional, and automated testing on PCB assemblies, cable assemblies, and electronic products. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with electronic test equipment, schematics, and circuit boards. This position works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production to identify defects, troubleshoot failures, and ensure products meet customer and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform functional, in-circuit, continuity, environmental, and final testing of PCB assemblies, cable assemblies, and electronic products. Operate test equipment including ICT, flying probe, ATE, JTAG/boundary scan, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and test fixtures. Troubleshoot electronic failures at the component and circuit-board level. Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, test reports, and engineering drawings. Follow established test procedures, test scripts, and inspection requirements. Record test results, failures, and corrective actions using MES or other manufacturing systems. Perform firmware loading, software configuration, and product calibration as needed. Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment, fixtures, cables, and tools. Work with Engineering to support new product introduction (NPI) and validate testing processes. Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and reduce repeat failures. Follow all ESD, safety, PPE, and quality requirements. Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience as a Test Technician, Electronics Technician, or similar role in an electronics manufacturing environment. Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Experience with ICT, ATE, or functional testing is highly desirable. Strong understanding of electronic components, PCB layouts, and circuit behavior. Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, and other electronic test equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering documentation. Familiarity with IPC standards, ESD practices, and quality systems. Basic soldering and rework experience with SMT and through-hole components is a plus. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams. Experience with automated test equipment programming or boundary scan tools is a plus. Physical & Work Environment Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Good manual dexterity for handling electronic components. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Work in a fast-paced, high-mix electronics manufacturing environment. Work on an ESD-controlled production floor with moderate noise levels. Must follow all company safety, ESD, PPE, and quality procedures. Why Join Us?
