Test Tech - Entry Level, Keltech Division
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Test Manager
BASIC FUNCTION
The position requires testing printed circuit board assemblies and/or product as a final unit. Please note this position is on the production floor; not in a test lab.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Troubleshoot electronic devices to board level by sectionalizing and localizing defects.
- Interpret schematics, engineering documents, and Bill of Materials
- Assemble and disassemble products using basic hand tools.
- Provide training and/or instructions on related work procedures to coworkers
- Maintain a clean workstation throughout each shift
- Understand and follow quality-related standards and documentation
- Dispose of non-conforming products, as directed
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility of each employee at Keltech
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in testing/trouble shooting Working knowledge of how resistors and capacitors operate in circuits. Experience establishing communication between devices using com ports, wireless networks, and wired ethernet connections. Possess a thorough understanding of test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. Must be comfortable with basic troubleshooting/problem solving Understanding of basic math, Metric/English conversions Must demonstrate excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills Must be able to communicate and work well with others; as well as independently Must be able to read, comprehend, and carry out very detailed instructions in English, both written and oral Must be detail-oriented: accurate, consistent, thorough, neat, able to recognize material damage/flaws Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance record and work overtime as directed
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent; A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience.

Roanoke, VA 24019 PHYSICAL DEMANDS Requires good hand/eye coordination, use of fine manipulation with hands and fingers, close/color vision, minimal fumes, moderate noise, minimal lifting, bending and stooping.
