Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the ORT Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing. The ORT Technician will operate reliability testing equipment, monitor environmental chamber performance, troubleshoot test systems, and assist the ORT Department as needed. Responsibilities Operate ORT rack testing stations and environmental chambers to perform product reliability testing Load and unload servers, DUTs (Devices Under Test), and related hardware into ORT racks and environmental chambers Verify products are loaded according to chamber layouts, work instructions, and engineering test plans Monitor chamber operation, alarms, temperature, humidity, and test status throughout reliability testing Troubleshoot test stations, fixtures, chambers, servers, and supporting equipment using established procedures Perform preventive maintenance on test fixtures, racks, environmental chambers, and support equipment Assist with chamber setup, product changeovers, and engineering validation builds Respond promptly to chamber alarms and immediately notify Test Engineers or Facilities of abnormal operating conditions Collect, record, and maintain chamber data, test logs, production records, and reliability test documentation Perform basic hardware replacement on fixtures, cables, sensors, connectors, and other support equipment Verify

test results and accurately route tested units to the next production process Support engineering investigations, failure analysis, and root cause analysis of reliability failures Maintain ESD compliance, safety procedures, and 5S standards within the ORT laboratory Work closely with Facilities during chamber maintenance, repairs, and equipment calibration activities Support New Product Introduction (NPI) reliability testing and engineering qualification builds Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures while maintaining accurate documentation Other Duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, Computer Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred One (1) year of experience in electronics manufacturing, testing, repair, reliability testing, or a related technical environment preferred Basic computer skills required Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Basic electronics troubleshooting skills required Working knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals preferred Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on test fixtures and support equipment Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Ability to read and follow technical work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documentation Experience with server hardware, PCBA manufacturing, or electronic assembly preferred Ability to work safely around environmental test chambers and electrical test equipment Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods (8+ hours) in a production environment Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Reasons you should work for us: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
