Responsibilities Develop roadway geometry and prepare construction plans for safe and efficient roadways

Prepare engineering reports and contract documents

Review work performed by less experienced Engineers and provide them coaching and mentorship

Serve as Engineer-of-Record on a variety of roadway projects from arterial widenings to multi-level interchanges, for a variety of clients from DOTs to Contractors to municipal agencies

Collaborate with Project Managers and Transportation Discipline Leaders

Prepare marketing materials and collaborate with project teams during pursuits

Provide engineering support for projects in construction Required Skills & Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

10+ years of progressive experience working on FDOT or similar public agency projects

Florida PE license or ability to obtain one within six months

Strong background in roadway design principles, criteria, and plans production processes (preferably with FDOT)

Proficiency with Open Roads Designer

Ability to manage multiple assignments in a timely fashion to meet project schedules

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
