Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Veteran's Preference Currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer to work in the Water/Wastewater Division in the Central FL area. The successful candidate will be responsible for successful completion of field tasks as assigned by the Project Superintendent and Craft Foreman.
Requirements:
Surveying/layout, technical writing
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Employer will conduct Background Check, Drug Test, and Motor Vehicle Check Valid Driver's License Minimum age of 18yrs old due to insurance
Responsibilities:
Assist Foreman with structure layout Field purchase orders Engineering duties as assigned for assistance in planning construction. Maintain and update project logs and schedules. Identify need for Requests for Information (RFIs). Prepare, review and process shop drawings. Maintain as-built drawings. Collect and assemble O&M material. Perform subcontract scope analysis. Assist with purchasing and expediting. Document distribution. Meeting minutes and distribution. Scheduling.
