Job DetailsWe're seeking an experienced Highway Engineer to design and manage different highway projects. This role involves design, working on diverse projects, provide mentorship with junior engineers and client coordination for complex roadway and multimodal transportation projects.
Roadway alignments, geometric design, multimodal projects and roadside safetyPrepare and review construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reportsEnsure compliance with AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT standardsProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineersServe as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholdersSupport business development through proposal preparation and client presentations

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil EngineeringPE license in Maryland11-15 years of highway engineering experienceExperience with MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD preferredExperience designing and managing highway tasks and projects and preparing contract documentsInterested in hearing more?
