Job Description
A growing multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking a full-time Airport Engineer / Project Engineer to support airport planning, design, construction, and civil engineering projects. This position offers opportunities to develop technical and leadership skills and advance toward Project Manager. Responsibilities Collect and analyze project data and perform engineering calculations. Prepare drawings, specifications, reports, and project documents. Perform airport and civil engineering design tasks. Support permit applications, material testing, surveying, CADD work, and airspace studies. Observe construction activities and prepare field reports. Research project requirements, standards, and regulations. Communicate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and schedules. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 1-5 years of airport planning, design, or civil engineering experience. P.E. license preferred or actively pursuing licensure. Consulting experience with FAA and/or DOT projects is a plus. Experience in the Central Region is preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. ArcGIS experience preferred. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
