Our ideal candidate has 9-15 years of experience, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work cohesively within a team, and the ability to work on multiple projects. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as Technical Lead for highway-oriented projects Serve as mentor to junior Highway Design Department staff Perform Business Development activities including attending professional society events Manage project schedules and budgets Assist with Quality Control/Quality Assurance Reviews Job Requirements 9-15 years of experience NJ PE License Previous experience with NJDOT is preferred Experience working on County Projects, DRPA and DRJTBC is a bonus Served as a Highway Task Leader or Lead Designer Participated in preparation of technical and price proposals Willing to attend marketing events Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
