Our ideal candidate has minimum of 4-8 years of experience, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work cohesively within a team, and the ability to work on multiple projects. Additionally, we offer a creative, flexible, supportive and fun environment! Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage projects, staff and clients. Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as work zone traffic, intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, DOT access permitting, control plans and traffic signal operations analysis. Assist in the preparation specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects. Assist with traffic/parking studies, corridor planning, feasibility studies, and safety audits. Coordinate with field inspection staff and serve as an on-site project representative. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineering (PE) license in NY required (or ability to obtain within first 6 months) Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) desirable Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with design standards, NYSDOT/NYCDOT/CTDOT/NJDOT experience (desirable) Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD) Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
