Job Description
ADR & Associates, Ltd. is an employee-owned engineering firm seeking experienced Civil Engineers to work on public and private projects out of our office located in Newark, Ohio. In this position, you will work as a senior member of a design team under the Project Manager to develop plans. As a Senior Engineer, you will engage as a mentor to less experienced staff, and will have the opportunity to take on certain Management tasks and advance your career to Project Manager if so desired. You will perform and direct the performance of plan development in CAD as well as required engineering calculations. You will be involved in projects from the conceptual phase, through the initial planning submittals, final design, and provide post-design consultation as needed.
Responsibilities may include:
Act as Engineer of Record for roadway and transportation related plans. Act as a Consulting Engineer for Municipal, County, and State clients. Author and verify construction cost estimates. Study/evaluation of roadway operations and geometrics. Geometric roadway design. Direct the work of a small team of junior engineers and technicians to complete work that you are in responsible charge of. Perform or direct performance of storm sewer and storm water management design including calculations. Perform or direct performance of limited public and private utility design including water and sewer mains. Possession of a valid license to practice Professional Engineering in the State of Ohio, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hiring, is a must.Job Type:
