What You'll Do As a Roadway Design Intern, you will support transportation engineering projects through a combination of office and field assignments.
Responsibilities may include:
Work alongside experienced engineers on challenging transportation projects Collaborate with project managers and colleagues on multiple transportation projects that vary in size and scope while developing familiarity with the federal, state, and local design standards Utilize technical software programs to analyze, prepare, and quality check client deliverables Field observations and data collection Assist with preparation of technical reports and memos Participation in technical and client meetings Fun team-building activities that will allow you to network with professionals and interns alike The successful candidate must have: Completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university A valid driver's license is required Why Mead & Hunt?
