Full Job Description What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated Traffic Engineering Associate to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will take an active part in delivering meaningful infrastructure solutions that directly impact the communities we serve. Responsibilities Prepare various types of traffic studies such as traffic impact studies, Intersection safety analysis, Interchange analysis, assist with corridor planning documents Provides Intersection and corridor operational analysis Assists with the development of intersection operational improvements Prepares traffic signal and signing/pavement marking designs Develop and help implement signal timing plans Participates in project site visits with other project team members as needed Assists with transportation planning studies as needed Prepare and review traffic studies to determine appropriate treatments and traffic control to resolve safety and congestion issues Works with other disciplines such as survey, roadway design, and environmental to increase engineering knowledge and facilitate successful project delivery Demonstrates strong attention to detail Performs other duties as requested
Education & Experience Qualifications:
Education and Experience Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from accredited university 0-4 years transportation or traffic engineering experience, preferred Knowledge of capacity analysis software such as Synchro 12, HCS, SIDRA, etc., preferred Knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads Designer, preferred. Engineer in Training certification preferred for a level 1, required for a level 2 Why join us?
