Quality Engineer Posted on May 21, 2025 May 21, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Quality Engineer to support and enhance our client's quality assurance processes within a manufacturing or production environment. This role is essential in ensuring that products and processes meet established standards through testing, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of quality systems and a continuous improvement mindset. Position Responsibilities Quality Control & Assurance Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for manufacturing processes and products. Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications. Root Cause Analysis & Problem Resolution Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve non-conformance and process deviations. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate quality documentation, including reports, procedures, and records. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ISO standards, and customer requirements. Continuous Improvement Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements to reduce defects and improve efficiency. Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field. 2-5 years of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, PPAP, 8D, etc.). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with quality systems, inspection equipment, and MS Office. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
