Job Overview ResourceTek is the Human Capital division of Barge Design Solutions, a multi-discipline Engineering and Architecture firm. We specialize in providing technical recruitment and staffing services to industry and government in all areas of Engineering, Information Technology, and a broad range of other Technical disciplines. In partnership with our client, a global leader in metals manufacturing, we are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support their facility. The ideal candidate will provide engineering support through reliability processes and function within the highly automated business unit of the Hot Dip Galvanizing Lines to meet the business goals of company. This is a direct hire opportunity. Primary Responsibilities Provides Engineering Support for the Galvanizing Lines Maintenance Team Subject Matter Expert for Reliability Engineering practices Initiates and Facilitate Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures and major breakdowns Identifies and proposes solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime events Participates in execution of critical equipment inspections and analysis Analyzes Equipment Data, recommended maintenance plans, drawings, etc. Writes technically based Equipment Maintenance Plans Performs tracking and trending of equipment maintenance performance Review drawings and technical documentation Requirements 10+ years' maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint). Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment Proficient in performing data analysis on equipment performance. Proficient in RCM Practices (Reliability Centered Maintenance). Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, work in small and large teams Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to facilitate and lead meetings efficiently and effectively Logical and critical thinking mindset when addressing problems Ability to adapt and lead changes when shifts in business demands occur Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement Demonstrate the company values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Relationships, and Sustainability Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in
ISO 14001
(current version), IATF 16949 (current version), and
ISO 17025

PREFERRED CMRP
Certification PdM Certification or Qualification (Vibration, Thermography, Oil analysis, Tribology, Motor Circuit Analysis) CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer) 5+ years' experience in a Manufacturing environment (or equivalent industry) SolidWorks/AutoCAD working knowledge Advanced experience in continuous galvanizing process is a plus. Working knowledge of SAP Familiarity with RCFA, Cause Mapping, Kaizen problem solving methodologies Proficiency in writing technical proposals and communications at multiple levels of the organization Client offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including life, medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more. #
