The Quality Engineer will guide improvement efforts, support structured problem solving, and help strengthen product performance and customer satisfaction. This position also provides technical expertise in quality systems, process controls, supplier oversight, and field performance evaluation.
Day to day duties of this role will include:
Collect, verify, and interpret defect metrics across multiple production categories to support targeted quality improvements.
Produce detailed warranty analyses that highlight major cost drivers and recurring issues for leadership review.
Apply statistical methods to detect variation, repeat failures, and emerging quality concerns.
Present clear updates on defect trends, root cause investigations, and corrective action progress to internal teams.
Establish and maintain quality procedures, inspection criteria, and process control methods.
Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely follow up on required corrective actions.
Review supplier performance, identify improvement opportunities, and conduct supplier audits with documented action plans.

Skilled in the use of measurement and inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and multimeters.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, models, and technical specifications.
Strong communication abilities and capable of working independently or within a team environment.
Effective interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Able to work in a fast paced environment that may involve climbing, walking, and repetitive physical activity.
Strong organizational habits, commitment to safety practices, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline, or High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years of quality engineering experience.Skilled in the use of measurement and inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and multimeters.

Strong communication abilities and capable of working independently or within a team environment.
