Job Duties
Develop and execute quality strategies across multiple sites aligned with business goals
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, waste reduction, and operational efficiency
Monitor and report key quality metrics and performance indicators
Serve as the primary contact for customer, supplier, and regulatory quality matters
Manage calibration systems, quality documentation, audits, and corrective/preventive actions
Oversee supplier quality programs and ensure compliance with product specifications and standards
Perform product evaluations, metallurgical testing, and quality analysis using established procedures
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality throughout the product lifecycle
Support new product development, validation activities, and process improvement initiatives
Mentor and train quality personnel while driving data-based solutions to improve product performance and customer satisfaction
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field required
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, continuous improvement, or manufacturing operations
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
Experience using measurement equipment, testing devices, and quality inspection tools
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), process capability (Cp/Cpk), standard deviation, and quality analysis methods
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
Physical Capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25%, including domestic plant and supplier visits and occasional international travel to China to support global quality initiatives
