Belcan is seeking quality engineers to ensure product and process compliance throughout the aerospace manufacturing lifecycle. Works cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and customers to resolve quality issues, support production, drive continuous improvement, and ensure delivery of compliant, high-quality aerospace products. Work to be performed onsite at client facility embedded within engineering operations with opportunity for direct hire. Qualified candidates will have experience in non-conformance, MRB, and quality systems and processes. Job Duties- Ensure compliance with aerospace, customer, and quality management system requirements.
- Review and approve engineering plans, manufacturing documentation, material purchases, and quality records.
- Investigate and resolve product nonconformances, coordinate MRB activities, and maintain traceability documentation.
- Drive quality improvements through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and defect reduction initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Inspection teams to improve quality, delivery, and production performance.
- Interface with customers to address quality concerns and support successful project execution.
- Support manufacturing processes including machining, milling, grinding, heat-treat, and non-destructive testing activities.
- Manage quality requirements across multiple projects while supporting changing customer and business priorities.
- Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Quality, or a related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, quality engineering, supplier quality, or aerospace production support environments.
- Experience investigating and resolving product non-conformances within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems and aerospace quality requirements.
- Experience processing non-conformances, supporting Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with machining, milling, grinding, heat treat, special processes, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as RCCA, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience supporting internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Knowledge of configuration management, traceability, and documentation control requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, or equivalent) are a plus.
