We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Powered Industrial Truck (forklift, scissor lift, and powered pallet jack) Trainer to ensure our Powered Industrial Truck operators are trained to the highest standards and also to provide support to various safety programs. Job Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Commissioning Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in driving production excellence. In this position, you will empower our production teams to surpass organizational goals by championing safety, precision quality, and operational efficiency. We are looking for a collaborative problem-solver dedicated to continuous process improvement and a passion for upholding a world-class manufacturing culture. Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of production strategies to meet weekly quotas and efficiency goals. Identify, analyze, and resolve systemic process inefficiencies through data-driven root cause analysis. Actively support and participate in safety culture initiatives and maintain safety standards. Partner with the QC team to implement procedures, conduct checklists, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Establish accurate operational baselines and pilot innovative methods or infrastructure to enhance throughput. Lead high-impact process improvement projects and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team and UMS team to execute department expansion efforts. Facilitate cross-departmental communication to develop integrated solutions for complex operational challenges.
Candidate Requirements Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or 4+ years of equivalent technical experience.Cultural Alignment:
Demonstrated commitment to upholding organizational values through professional integrity and teamwork.Data Literacy:
Proficiency in analyzing operational data to drive decision-making and provide technical reports to the engineering team.Collaboration:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge communication between Production, QC, and Engineering.CAD Proficiency:
Practical experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD).Root Cause Analysis:
Skilled in applying structured troubleshooting frameworks (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) to resolve production bottlenecks and correct defects.Technical Writing:
Ability to create and maintain high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.Continuous Improvement:
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events.Preferred Qualifications Industry Experience:
3+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Leadership:
1+ year of experience in a leadership or project management role.Systems Literacy:
Experience navigating ERP or MES software to manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings.Engineering Standards:
