Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineering Analyst for a Contract with a client in Alameda, CA. The ideal candidate with experience analyzing complaint and quality data, identifying trends, and supporting root cause investigations to improve product quality and regulatory compliance.
Rate Range:
$55/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Quality Engineering Analyst Job Responsibilities include: Perform complaint tracking, trending, and analysis activities to identify quality issues, product risks, and emerging trends within regulated environments. Analyze complaint, CAPA, and quality system data to support root cause investigations and drive effective corrective and preventive actions. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, JMP, SQL, and other analytical tools. Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, and R&D teams to investigate product performance concerns and process-related issues. Document investigation findings, technical assessments, and recommendations while ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO, and internal quality system requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring quality metrics, identifying opportunities for process enhancement, and presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Quality Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related Engineering discipline. 2-3 years of experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other FDA/ISO-regulated industry. Experience with complaint handling, complaint trending, CAPA support, root cause investigations, and quality systems compliance within regulated environments. Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including experience with Excel, Power BI, JMP, SQL, or similar tools for quality trend analysis and dashboard development. Pay Details:
