Quality Engineer III Ultimate Staffing Services - 3.8 Irvine, CA Job Details Full-time From $110,000 a year 7 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays 401(k) 401(k) matching Qualifications Customer communication Customer complaint resolution Full Job Description Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Quality Engineer III to join a growing comapny in Irvine. This is an onsite role. Annual salary $110K-$120K+ | Direct Hire position We're partnering with an established manufacturing company in Irvine that is adding a Quality Engineer III to its growing team. This is a newly created role with strong visibility across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, customers, and suppliers. What You'll Be Doing Develop quality test plans, validation plans, inspection criteria, and product qualification activities Conduct and review First Article Inspections (FAIs) and support production readiness Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to assess product quality and manufacturability Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development initiatives Investigate quality issues and perform root cause analysis and corrective action activities Review KPIs, quality metrics, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement Recommend and drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality and manufacturing processes Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality Work directly with suppliers on quality issues, corrective actions, product testing, and technical questions Support customers with product quality concerns, material questions, investigations, and resolution Serve as a technical liaison between customers, suppliers, engineering, and internal quality teams Provide guidance on applicable quality, regulatory, and ISO requirements Support product qualification, validation, and reliability testing Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting issues within the manufacturing environment Ideal Background Progressive experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment Strong technical or engineering foundation Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree preferred Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Hands-on experience with First Article Inspections Strong understanding of quality principles, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement Experience supporting both design/product development and manufacturing Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects with minimal direction Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with customers, suppliers, and internal technical teams Highly Desirable Experience Experience in one or more of the following would be especially valuable: Electronics or electrical manufacturing Electromechanical products or assemblies Plastic components or injection molding Silicone molding Aerospace or other highly technical manufacturing environments CAD, SolidWorks, or Auto
