We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality through system-driven approaches, continuous improvement and compliance. The Quality Engineer will lead root cause analysis, drive Six Sigma projects, maintain and improve quality management systems (QMS/EMS), and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to deliver consistent, high-quality results. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain quality management processes and documentation (QMS) including EMS and ISO-related requirements.
Lead and support Six Sigma and other continuous improvement projects to reduce variation, defects and costs.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using methods such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
Plan and execute internal and supplier quality audits; follow up on nonconformances to closure.
Create and maintain control plans, inspection criteria, and process capability studies (SPC).
Support new product introduction activities with DFMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, APQP and verification/validation plans.
Monitor, report and analyze quality metrics (DPPM, yield, OEE, NCRs) and present findings to stakeholders.
Train production and cross-functional teams on quality standards, EMS requirements and best practices.
Collaborate with suppliers to drive quality improvement and support supplier development activities. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years experience in a quality role with demonstrated ownership of quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
