What to Expect Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue through the entire Winter/Spring term (i.e through April/May 2027) or into Summer 2027 ifavailable. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks,full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site,for most internships.

About the Role The Energy Products Reliability team is a diverse, multi-disciplinary group of engineers focused on delivering the most reliable, robust and capable energy storage and solar products to our customers - both residential and industrial. The team is looking for passionate engineering students with a background in mechanical, electrical and thermals engineering- excited about working hands-on with industry-leading sustainable technologies.

Learn to design, build, and deploy robust testingplatformsto validate and de-risk ournext-generationTeslaEnergy and Charging products - working hands-on with prototype hardware

Collaborate closely withkey stakeholders(design, firmware, manufacturing, service, etc.) to execute engineering validation and long-term reliability testing programs on criticalelectromechanical and thermals systems.



Theresultsthese tests willdirectly drive design and process improvements as part of our product development cycle What You'll Bring

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal Engineering or related field Experienceapplying core engineering principles working hands-on with hardware Experienceutilizing CAD software (Solidworks, CATIA,etc) and scripting languages

Proficiencywith standard laband fabricationtools (power tools, multi-meter,etc.)

Expected Compensation

$20.00 - $50.00 + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
