PneuDraulics, Inc. located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA has been supplying the aerospace industry with high quality hydraulic system components for over 65 years.
Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality through all levels of the supply chain of a vertically integrated manufacturer. The Quality Engineer plans and conducts activities with both internal and external stakeholders to control production processes through implementation of inspection plans, failure analysis investigations, and continuous improvement activities by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Extensive experience working within a structured Quality Management System (AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 etc.) Extensive experience with Root Cause Corrective Action and problem solving and deploying tools such as
FRACAS, CAPA, 8D.
Must have ability to work as an individual contributor and as a great team member. Extensive experience with using Statistical Process Control to drive preventive action and continuous improvement including but not limited to: Analyzing data points to ensure process capability is optimal. Extensive experience with customer correspondence including Weekly touch base, Weekly RAIL updates, Coordinating customer visits, Monitoring customer satisfaction Must be familiar with DMAIC structure of problem solving. Project Management skills with a demonstrated track record of meeting deliverables to internal and external customers. Extensive experience with internal auditing. Can do positive mental attitude. Education and/or
Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study. 3+ years of quality engineering experience. This position is ideal for an individual with experience in the aerospace industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification a plus Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing experience Ability to use basic inspection tools such as Calipers, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge etc.
