MKS:
As a Sr Quality Engineer at MKS, you will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Internal Teams to support business and customer needs and drive world-class quality culture. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Quality Manager. You Will Make anImpact By:
- Developing quality data collection plans and inspection/process documentation. Performing analysis and identifying trends in inspection data. Using statistical analysis tools to identify issues and draw conclusions.
- Leading cross-functional problem solving and quality improvement teams.
- Preparing customer first article packages. Understanding customer specifications/requirements and translating them into internal PORs (Process of record). Training personnel in Processes and Procedures.
- Leading audits to ensure product and process conformity. Documenting results and following action plan through to completion.
- Reviewing internal and customer data and preparing reports.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 5 % of Travel is required.Skills You Bring:
- 5+ Years of job-related work experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required, Master's degree preferred.
- Strong capability in data collection and analysis, SPC and using statistical tools to identify trends and solve quality problems
- Leadership skills. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and gain consensus.
- Able to interpret mechanical drawings, understand GD&T and mechanical measuring data.
Preferred Skills:
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools and application.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
- Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
- Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 30 lbs
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for 20% of the time
- Vision correctable to 20/20
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range:
$88,425.00 - $147,375.00per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
