Aerospace / Manufacturing About the Opportunity Our Client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support Overhaul & Repair (O/R) operations for a leading aerospace manufacturing client. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across operations, while serving as a key liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers. Key Responsibilities Ensure product quality and compliance with FAA, EASA, AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO standards Act as the primary quality contact for customers and suppliers Conduct internal audits and support regulatory compliance initiatives Maintain and manage quality records, manuals, and regulatory documentation Review and approve purchase orders and contracts from a quality standpoint Lead and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve non-conformances Perform supplier evaluations and audits Support inspection activities and assist with teardown reports and quality documentation Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and quality initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong knowledge of: Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Measurement systems and inspection techniques Manufacturing processes and methods Statistical Process Control (SPC) Experience with AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP quality systems Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Experience Familiarity with
FAA/EASA
regulations and Airworthiness Directives Experience in aerospace or overhaul & repair environments Background in supplier quality and audit processes Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands regularly Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs Ability to work in both office and shop environments Pre-Employment Requirements Background check Drug & alcohol screening
