Job Description

Supports precision manufacturing and inspection processes to ensure products meet engineering, aerospace, regulatory, and dimensional quality requirements. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 7 years of Quality Engineering experience in precision machining, aerospace, or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of CNC machining processes. Knowledge of manufacturing inspection methodologies and quality systems. Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings. Experience applying GD&T requirements in accordance with
ASME Y14.5.
Experience with CMM inspection. Experience using metrology and dimensional inspection equipment. Experience performing dimensional analysis. Working knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements. Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO quality standards. Experience performing root cause analysis. Experience developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Preferred Skills Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing operations. Experience supporting precision-machined components. Experience with advanced measurement and validation activities. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies. Experience supporting First Article Inspections and inspection documentation. Job Responsibilities Support manufacturing and inspection processes to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry quality requirements. Review engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, specifications, and inspection criteria. Support CNC machining operations from a quality engineering perspective. Develop and support inspection and dimensional validation activities. Support CMM inspection and metrology processes. Perform dimensional analysis and evaluate inspection results. Support AS9102 First Article Inspection activities and documentation. Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO, and applicable aerospace quality requirements. Investigate manufacturing and quality issues using root cause analysis methods. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing and inspection processes. Coordinate quality activities with engineering, production, and inspection functions.
