A Product Quality Engineer evaluates and tests products and manufacturing systems, to ensure that products are produced that meet quality and performance standards as well as safety and regulatory requirements. Develops product quality standards and monitors production and product testing.
The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting manufacturing and inspection processes to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and industry quality requirements. This role works closely with engineering, production, and inspection teams to drive continuous improvement, maintain compliance with aerospace and precision machining standards, and support advanced measurement and validation activities. Must Have(s): Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 7 years of Quality Engineering experience in a precision machining, aerospace, or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, inspection methodologies, and manufacturing quality systems. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and applying GD&T (ASME Y14.5) standards. Experience with CMM inspection, metrology equipment, and dimensional analysis. Working knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements and
AS9100/ISO
quality standards.
