What You'll Do:
Review customer purchase orders and enter requirements into the client job system. Balloon prints, review specifications, and establish specifications and details needed. Monitor and verify quality documentation. Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports
IAW AS9102.
Disposition nonconforming product. Initiate corrective and preventive action. Interface with customers and suppliers as needed. Generate supplier corrective action requests. Collaborate with inspection, engineering, quality engineering, purchasing, and production to ensure conformance to requirements. Initiate and generate statistical process control on key characteristics. Conduct internal audits.
What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of experience in quality assurance.
What Sets You Apart:
Associate Degree in Quality Engineering. Proficient use of software programs such as Microsoft Office. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to accurately analyze data. Ability to read technical data and specifications. Experience with AS9100 or other quality management systems Good knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies. Experience with AS9102 First Article Reports Experience in the aerospace industry. Good blueprint reading, including GD&T. Mechanical inspection skills. Knowledge of special processes such as metal finishing and heat treating. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to quality assurance. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Jobboss or other systems. Familiarity with DISCUS software. Designated Product Release Verification (DPRV) certification. Experience in a fast-paced job shop environment. Knowledge of special processes related to manufacturing.
