JOB SUMMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following: Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns. Assist Quality manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system. Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system and the Parts Delivery Network Responsible for maintaining Internal Controls and the coordination of all controls for the Parts Delivery Network. Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved processes Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system. Conduct internal audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions. Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints. Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality plans, inspection procedures, etc. Ensure timely resolution of Supplier issues, corrective actions and preventive actions. Preparation of QA reports and metrics. Training, coaching and re-direction of employees and peers as required Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant field Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM's EHS Training Matrix Skills/Experience 2+ years of experience in a quality environment with understanding of manufacturing terminology and best practices. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing as applied in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements and associated documentation. Proven work history in positions requiring organization, attention to detail, accuracy and multi-tasking. Demonstration of advanced competency in both verbal and written communication. Demonstration of advanced competency in problem solving, collaboration. Proficiency with MS Office Professional. Ability to travel upon request, with or without advance notice.
