Quality Engineer Molex life insurance, parental leave United States, Florida, Pinellas Park Aug 08, 2026 Your Job We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the voice of the customer, partnering with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns, drive corrective actions, and improve overall performance. Key responsibilities include leading root cause investigations, managing customer and internal corrective actions, and utilizing problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5-Why, and cause-and-effect analysis to prevent recurring issues and enhance the customer experience. What You Will Do Lead the end-to-end corrective action process for customer, internal, and manufacturing quality concerns, including complaint investigation, containment, quality alerts, ownership assignment, verification of effectiveness, timely customer response, closure, and documentation using 8D or similar problem-solving tools.
Facilitate MRB meetings and support disposition of non-conforming material, including investigation, coordination, and communication with impacted teams and customers.
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement using quality tools such as Pareto charts, flowcharts, fishbone diagrams, FMEA/PFMEA, and statistical analysis.
Coordinate communication between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer-facing teams to ensure issues are clearly understood and actions are completed.
Support inspection and process controls, including final inspection, FAI validation, GR&R studies, key process variable reporting, operator training, and quality data analysis.
Maintain the NCR system and partner with supervisors to drive timely closure and effective corrective actions.
Support internal, registrar, and customer audits by coordinating action completion, verifying effectiveness, and supporting
