Job Description
This is a full-time, salaried position operating on a day-shift schedule within an automotive manufacturing environment. Core Duties Lead the investigation of quality concerns and spearhead necessary corrective measures. Oversee adherence to control plans, inspection protocols, and established quality standards. Evaluate quality metrics to pinpoint opportunities for process optimization and efficiency. Assist in the facilitation of internal, supplier, and customer-facing audits. Review and authorize quality-related paperwork, product approvals, deviations, and rework tasks. Protect the team and product integrity by halting production lines if safety or quality issues are detected. Essential Qualifications Proven background in Quality Engineering within an ISO9001 manufacturing setting. Proficiency in core quality methodologies including 8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP, and PPAP. Demonstrate exceptional communication abilities and a proactive approach to resolving complex technical challenges.
