Support production quality activities within an automotive plastic injection molding environment. Lead and participate in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and 8D corrective action activities. Investigate quality concerns and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Support launch readiness and new product introductions. Work closely with production, engineering, and customers to resolve quality issues. Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with

quality standards. Assist with internal audits and quality system improvements. Develop quality alerts and maintain quality limit samples. Train production personnel on quality standards and best practices. Support customer complaint resolution and warranty investigations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.

Quality Engineer Qualifications:

Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in automotive manufacturing. Experience within a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment is required.

Strong knowledge of:

APQP PPAP PFMEA

Control Plans SPC 8D Problem Solving Experience supporting production quality and corrective action activities. Strong communication and customer-facing skills. Ability to commute to Elberton, GA .

Preferred Qualifications:

BMW customer experience.

IATF 16949
