Description:

Job Summary Support quality planning, issue resolution, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives for drivetrain component manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Lead shop-floor quality issue resolution and drive continuous improvement using QIT, PFMEA, Six Sigma, and related quality tools. Develop and maintain Control Plans, perform root cause analysis, and lead corrective actions for manufacturing issues. Apply FMEA, SPC, Gauge R&R, MSA, capability studies, and statistical analysis to improve process quality. Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements while supporting testing, validation, process improvements, and engineering changes. Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and engineering activities to achieve quality, cost, safety, and customer requirements. Required Skills & Experience Experience with quality management tools including FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, MSA, and Capability Studies. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles. Experience with statistical analysis, corrective actions, quality reporting, and manufacturing process improvement. Knowledge of gear/shaft or drivetrain component manufacturing, along with strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills. Desired Skills Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or Minitab; ASQ certifications such as CQE, CSSGB, or CSSBB; and project management/cross-functional leadership experience.
