at Chobani in Twin Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Summary The CIP Validation Specialist assists the Validation team with ensuring that all automated CIP circuits and CIP stations are operating efficiently and effectively. The Validation Specialist is responsible for assisting with the validation of all the key parameters of manual sanitation and mechanical sanitation ( CIP circuits) documenting everything. This individual will help commission new equipment, ensure the correct cleaning parameters are established and validate all circuits periodically.

Responsibilities Assist with developing an outstanding CIP validation program. Optimize, Standardize, Document, Validate and Verify the Sanitation Processes and Parameters. Work closely with Sanitation Provider and Director of Sanitation. Provide backup as needed. Communicate any issues immediately if concerns involve food safety, personal safety, or quality problems. Assist with verifying P&ID's, PIN Charts, and process piping equipment. Document all Screen Captures of Parameters, Set Points, and Pulse Timers for equipment. Assist with coordinating CIP times with involved departments. Routine teardown and inspection of equipment. Gather adequate micro data for quality verification. Document all verifications and be sure all is completed and filed properly. Communicate any issues or concerns between other departments and the Sanitation Department. Track/Report CIP validation progress on new and existing equipment. Ensure compliance with all legal/regulatory requirements concerning dairy processing, safety and working conditions. Assist with general site cleanliness with the expectation of the inspection being ready 24/7. Responsible for any passivation and/or de-stain needs. Help identify the need for maintenance or repair of CIP equipment. Identify processes, or cost savings projects and assist in the development, justification, approval, and execution of projects. Assist with sanitation chemical trials. Perform routine sanitation/safety/quality audits and provide detailed reports, presentations, and training as needed. Stay informed of new technologies and innovations related to the sanitation and food safety industry. Attend external training as required. Assist with Kleanz. Must have a flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends. Schedule to be set and agreed by validation supervisor. Other tasks and projects assigned.
