Job DescriptionPrimary QC Lab point of contact for Business Technology Solutions (BTS) for evaluation of digital lab improvement projects. Leads implementation of BTS software improvements impacting laboratory operations. Analyzes proposed workflow improvements in laboratory systems to understand and assess impact. Leads project teams within the laboratory to ensure readiness and delegate tasks for team members. Executes test cases and verification/validation of workflow requirements.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementing digital laboratory improvement projects with the global BTS team. Represents the laboratory to ensure projects are implemented successfully within the agreed upon timeframe.

Leads local project teams and able to delegate tasks to laboratory analysts assisting with project implementation.

Able to work with laboratory information management system platform (ex. SampleManager) to help create analyses, update data, and manage static data tables to allow laboratories to use implemented workflows.

Able to create and update Empower calculations for new and updated test methods in the QC laboratories.

Works on the creation of verification and validation protocols for new Empower calculations. Implements protocols which includes updating relevant documents into quality document system.

Coordinates activities with BTS and global team to test standalone instrument integration with laboratory results reporting systems.

Creates and updates relevant procedures as well as training material for new workflows. Collects and coordinates responses from end users to address all communication needs to ensure successful project implementationCreates and executes change plans using the change management system to meet project deliverables.

Provides digital system support for new product and technology introductions in the lab.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or applicable discipline.3+ years' related experience in a regulated or pharmaceutical testing lab environment.

Experience working in both a team setting and independently. Works independently to complete tactical objectives while able to manage own time effectively.

Strong oral and written communication skills required. Excellent interpersonal skills preferred.
