Job Description

Main tasks: Quality Assurance  Perform daily in-process and final product inspections.  Verify compliance with product specifications and quality standards.  Document inspection results and investigate internal quality issues, customer complaints, and product returns.  Support containment activities and monitor quality trends to reduce defects. Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015)  Maintain the

2015 Quality Management System.  Manage document control, procedures, work instructions, calibration records, and all quality records to ensure audit readiness.  Coordinate corrective actions, nonconformance tracking, and root cause investigations.  Coordinate internal audits and support external certification and customer audits.  Maintain quality logs, trackers, and KPI reporting.  Support management review activities through reporting and quality data analysis. Continuous Improvement & Production Support  Train new and existing employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and identifying acceptable products.  Develop a working knowledge of hose construction, production equipment, raw materials, and manufacturing processes to understand how equipment settings, operator techniques, and process variation affect product quality.  Observe manufacturing processes to identify opportunities to improve product consistency.  Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving techniques.  Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions that improve product quality and process stability.  Monitor recurring quality issues and support standardized work and long-term process improvements. Cross-Functional Collaboration  Serve as the primary quality resource for production personnel.  Communicate quality trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to production leadership.  Build strong working relationships across departments to encourage accountability and continuous improvement.  Promote a positive quality culture through coaching, communication, and employee engagement. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
