Location:

Bowling Green, KY Cannon Automotive Solutions, a divisionofCleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediateopportunity for aQuality Engineerin ourBowling Green, KentuckyStamping Facility.



TheQualityEngineeris responsible for analyzing all stages of the manufacturing system to maximize the quality ofthe products being produced. The ideal candidate will have priorknowledge of prevention planning and the correction of non-conformances, be self-motivated,and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

Overseeroot cause analysis and implement corrective actionsfor process/ productrelated concerns

Enhance the Quality System with continuousimprovement activities,such as 5S, Kaizen,and lean methods

Develop, implement, and participate in training to build/ improvequality awarenessamong new and existing employees

Coach, mentor, and support a team of Quality Inspectors

Analyze failureand preventative actionstoensureatimely resolutiontoallcustomerconcerns/complaints

Plan, organize,and maintain quality documentation

Manage suppliers' performance and conductinternal/ externalaudits

Evaluateand examinethe company's product specifications to equalcustomer requirements

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

3yearsofsupervisory orrelated work experienceina manufacturing/ productionenvironment

Post-secondary education or equivalent

Ability toretain information andcommunicate effectively, both written and oral

Ability to stand for long periods of time/ lift 23 kg (50 lbs)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Able to work 3-shift model: Midnights, Days, Afternoons, and required

OT Preferred Qualifications:

5years of supervisory or related work experience in a manufacturing/ production environment
