About This Role We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for: Interfaces with internal functional groups and systems in performance of the assigned Quality Engineering tasks Performs quality planning activities including development of Quality Plan, Quality Assurance Directive and Inspection Plan documents as required by the assigned project(s) Accumulation and compilation of Support nonconforming material documentation Interfaces with Supplier Quality Engineering to provide guidance and support for supplier issues Uses knowledge in reviewing customer contracts and design standards, responsible for requirements analysis, identification and definition of inspection tools and techniques to define inspection requirements Participates in process improvement activities through monitoring, root cause investigations, auditing, failure analysis Participates in developing fabrication/build processes and standards Qualifications Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or Materialial Science Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills Why You'll Love Interning at Textron This internship is more than a summer experience — offering mentorship, training, and meaningful, hands-on work that helps you build confidence, develop new skills, and take real steps toward your career goals.Our benefits include:

The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
