Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) and
ISO 9001/AS9100.

Ensure products and processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)Develop and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and audit reports.

Reviews contractual documentation to identify customer requirements and ensures appropriate flow down to ensure project compliance.

Identify areas for improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologiesLead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities to resolve quality issues.

Develop and implement inspection plans, test procedures, and sampling methodologies.

Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process checks and final inspections to ensure product conformity.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet specifications.

Work closely with manufacturing teams to monitor and improve production processes.

Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data using statistical tools (e.g., SPC, etc)Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate quality trends and findings.

Participate in internal, external, and supplier audits to assess compliance and identify risks.

Support certification and regulatory audits by providing documentation and evidence of compliance.
