Duties:

Audit all aspects of the software development life cycle and usage of tool sets. Participate in the supplier selection and qualification process. Verify suppliers' understanding and application of design requirements, statement of work, specifications, automotive assessment model, customer, and Astemo standards. Monitor and communicate overall status of software suppliers' work, ensuring project timing is met. Establish annual supplier audit plan, perform required audits and/or assessments, and follow-up on corrective actions. Set and monitor supplier performance metrics, such as defect rates, and adherence to quality standards. Review supplier documentation and work product to ensure compliance with project requirements. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide feedback. May work remotely within normal commuting distance of Farmington Hills, MI.

Requirements:

Master's degree in applied computer science, quality engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience; alternatively, the employer will accept a bachelor's degree in applied computer science, quality engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience.

Skills:

Software development tools and methodologies, including SDLC, V-Cycle, Agile and Waterfall; Automotive industry assessment standards, including CMMI and ASPICE; Internal and external audit procedures such as

ISO 19011

; Electronic control systems; Supplier management; and Automotive industry standards, including IATF 16949 and

ISO 2626.

The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.
