Job Description:
Junior Quality Engineer | Automotive Manufacturing Adecco Permanent Recruitment is currently recruiting a Junior Quality Engineer for one of our automotive manufacturing clients in Southeast Michigan. This is a great opportunity for an early-career quality professional looking to take the next step in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with Quality, Engineering and Operations while gaining exposure to new product launches, process improvement and customer quality requirements. What You'll Be Doing Support day-to-day quality activities within a high-volume manufacturing environment Partner with Quality, Process Engineering and Operations teams to resolve manufacturing quality issues Support APQP and PPAP activities for new product launches Assist with Control Plans, PFMEA, gauge planning and process capability studies Perform root-cause analysis and support corrective actions Review production and quality data and recommend process improvements Support MSA, Gauge R&R and statistical analysis Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances and GD&T Conduct product and process audits Verify quality standards and work instructions are being followed on the manufacturing floor Support continuous-improvement and operator-training initiatives What We're Looking For Approximately 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans Knowledge of GD&T, gauging, calibration and Gauge R&R Understanding of process capability, statistical techniques and root-cause problem solving Familiarity with

quality standards Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively across Quality, Engineering and Operations These requirements are directly aligned with the client's specification, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, GD&T, gauging and Gauge R&R experience.
