Job Description

Job Overview This Quality Engineer will work in our Walls Plant and be responsible for improving the customer experience, both internally and externally, by supporting the manufacturing team in solving top Pareto issues and adhering to, as well as enhancing, the plant's Quality Operating System. This role develops and implements quality control procedures to ensure products meet design specifications and functionality requirements while conducting tests, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities for production process improvement. The ideal candidate is customer focused, passionate about problem solving, and effective at observing, auditing, and communicating insights related to products, team members, and processes. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement quality plans for new and existing products, processes, and equipment. Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement. Lead and manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrence. Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Develop and deliver quality training programs to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Stay informed about industry quality standards, regulations, and best practices. Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation. Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment. Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field of study
Education Equivalency:
Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
Work Experience:
2 years experience in engineering, manufacturing, testing, quality assurance or quality control Applicants must be able to work inHolland, MI without relocation assistance.
