Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:00
PM Duration:
2-year W2 Contract Position Summary Seeking a Quality Engineer to support engine assembly operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, plant-floor-focused role responsible for driving quality improvements, analyzing manufacturing data, resolving production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality. Responsibilities Investigate and resolve quality issues on the production floor. Analyze SPC and assembly process data to identify trends and drive corrective actions. Utilize quality tools, including PFMEAs, to improve manufacturing processes. Support continuous improvement and error-proofing initiatives. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and production teams. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and inspection data. Communicate quality concerns and progress to leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering required. 2-4 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with SPC, PFMEAs, GD&T, and CMM operations. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong problem-solving, communication, and root-cause analysis skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced plant environment with production personnel. Preferred Traits Self-starter who can work independently. Strong troubleshooting and conflict-resolution skills. Comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor rather than at a desk. #INDOEM #LI-KW1
