These components include matched valves for fuel systems, spindles and shafts for motors and pumps, pistons and shoes for hydraulic actuators and various close tolerance housings. Triple has worked in the aerospace and defense industry for over 70 years.

Quality Manager Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality standards are followed within the organization including regulatory body compliance, customer compliance and internally.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead and manage quality administration (shared between Quality Manager). Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Completing corrective actions with in-depth root cause corrective action Champion PPAP, FMEA, 5S, Zero Defect, continuous improvements and customer-initiated activities Conduct audits - internal, AS9100, Nadcap, customer specific Maintain & manage the quality management system in accordance with AS9100, NADCAP and customer requirements Analysis of quality concerns - internal, customer and supplier Lead and execute quality strategies aimed at reducing nonconformities or quality issues Work closely with production and processing to mitigate risk and potential quality issues Involvement in new job reviews including contracts, inspection plans and quality requirements Track quality metrics on a regular basis Champion of the Quality Clinic Regular interactions with Inspection Department, including inspection of parts Conduct Gage R&R studies Ballooning of prints / AQL & methods Developing inspection plans
Required Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes including how to interpret a blueprint and GD&T In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, specifically AS9100 Self-motivated team-oriented individual who can work with minimal supervision Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong root cause corrective action skills Excellent communication skills to be used with customers, suppliers and internal workforce Ability to navigate customer portals Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to read, write and understand
English Knowledge of:
ERP systems as related to quality (Global Shop experience preferred) Knowledge of how to perform inspections of the product to the blueprint specifications using standard measuring instruments such as:
- Micrometers
- Bore gages
- Optical comparators
- Air gaging
- Surface analyzing equipment
- Mikrokator
- Height gages
- CMM
- Vision systems
- Laser micrometers
Experience/Education:
5-10 years in quality engineering or quality assurance experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Must be citizen of United States Trained and certified quality specialist preferred (CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt)
Work Environment :
This job operates primarily in an office environment. Some time is required on the shop floors. The job requires some travel between local plants (all locations in Troy, MI) and minimal travel to customers or suppliers. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
