Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join an innovative manufacturing team. Provide leadership and support acting as a technical resource tackling issues impacting the quality of products and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Quality Engineer will support safety, new products/process introductions, product improvements, addressing problems driving continuous improvements. Must be a current resident of the Twin Cities metro area. Must be eligible to work in the US permanently.

Duties:
Own quality management systems for your area. Plan and implement inspection strategies Conduct audits of work and processes Analyze, review and report on key quality data taking corrective action when necessary Communicate with and establish positive relationships with customers Apply problem-solving techniques to identify root cause and quality issues enacting permanent corrective actions Participate in new product development and change management activities Provide staff training as needed
Requirements:
BS Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering 5 years of relevant work experience Industrial, Electrical, automotive or HVAC industry experience preferred "Certified Quality Engineer" designation from ASQ (Preferred but not required) Strong
ISO 9001
Experience (Auditor Certification preferred not required) Experience in Lean - Six Sigma preferred. Must be a current resident of the Twin Cities metro area. Must be eligible to work in the US permanently.

$85,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year
