Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive QA Engineer to join our team at SemiLink Materials. This role serves as the critical link between our customers, vendors, and internal operations. The job requires you to work with our Quality Director to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards and internal processes. You will also work closely with our internal team ensuring timely fulfillment, clear communication, and excellent customer experience while adhering to all quality policies. Responsibilities Quality Systems & Compliance
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct regular audits of production processes, documentation, and procedures to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure new products are developed with a focus on quality and reliability as well as participating in the review and approval of change control requests to assess their potential impact on product quality
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and support regulatory inspections as needed Process & Product Quality
- Monitor and analyze critical quality parameters for high‑purity chemical production (e.g., trace metals, moisture, particles, organics)
- Lead root cause investigations using structured problem‑solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA)
- Initiate and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze SPC data, laboratory results, trend charts, and customer feedback to detect and prevent quality issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, contamination reduction, and process capability
- Collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain teams to improve process robustness Supplier & Customer Interface
- Support supplier qualification, audits, and material approvals for raw materials used in high‑purity chemical production
- Participate in customer communications regarding quality performance, nonconformances, and improvement plans
- Assist with customer failure analysis and technical quality support as needed
- Enter quality data into the customers' ERP system with accuracy and efficiency General Duties
- Provide training to employees on quality control and quality assurance procedures
- Manage the document control system

- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional, and remote, teams
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field 3+ years of quality engineering or quality assurance experience
- Industry experience in semiconductor, chemical, or high-purity materials preferred
- Working knowledge of: o
ISO 9001
quality management systems o Root cause analysis and CAPA methodologies o Statistical tools (SPC, capability analysis)
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality management systems (QMS)
- ERP/MRP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar system)
