Job Description

We are looking for one person to join our farm crew as an Online Store Assistant for a seasonal position . Starting the first week of September through the week of April 19th.
Important Info Regarding Availability:
Must be available for entire period outlined.
For time off:
we take off the Thursday and Friday on the week of Thanksgiving (Nov. 26-27, 2026) , and the week of Christmas (Dec. 21-25, 2026). If you are planning to take off additional time during September through April, please let us know during the interview process. If you intend to take off more than two weeks during this period then this position may not be for you. Hours per
Week:
20-22 hours per week in Sept, Oct, Nov, and April. 28-30 hours in December through
March Schedule Sept-Nov and April:
Monday:
8am-2pm,
Tuesday:
8am-noon/1pm,
Wednesday:
8am-2pm,
Thursday:
8am-noon/1pm. Optional 30 minute lunch break on Mondays and Wednesdays - this will be up to you.
Please note:
the two weeks leading up to Thanksgiving (wks of Nov. 9th and 16th) are high volume and may require an additional 1-4 hours during that period.

8am-4:30pm,
Tuesday:
8am-2pm,
Wednesday:
8am-4:30pm,
Thursday:
8am-2pm. Includes a 30 minute lunch break on Monday and Wednesday. Optional 30 minute lunch break on Tuesday and Thursday - this will be up to you.
Please note:
the weeks before and after Christmas (wks of Dec. 14th and 28th) are high volume and may require an additional 1-4 hours during that period.
Additional Compensation:
Extra produce is available in addition to the hourly wage. In addition, employees receive 15% off the online store.
Duties:
September will primarily include bulk harvesting of vegetables, washing and packing vegetables for Clark Fork Market, assisting with setup of online store packing areas in our new building, and familiarizing oneself with the farm and operation processes. October through April will primarily include cleaning and packing produce for our online store, and inventory management on Mondays and Wednesdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays will include set-up, packing, and break-down for packing of online store orders.
Other duties may include:
packing CSA shares and wholesale orders on Wednesdays and Thursdays, general clean-up tasks in the wash and pack facility. Training will be provided for all tasks. You will primarily work alongside our Sales Manager. Hours ramp up in December through March to accommodate pregnancy and maternity leave for one of our staff members.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn and work efficiently. We try to pair each person with tasks that are suited to them based on natural tendencies, skillsets, and desire of the employee. Employees may work independently, in small groups, or as a full crew depending on the day and the task. We have fun as a crew, but we all like to work hard while producing a meaningful amount of produce for the our local food system. Communication is the most important trait we look for - we are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating time off/scheduling requests, observations and insights especially in regards to quality and processes, and needs for additional information/training, etc. What does Success look like for this position: Update inventory as needed No inventory over-selling Keep packing space + online cooler tidy + organized No mistakes in online packing Double check/no mistakes for O'Hara account orders Maintain quality + consistency of items packed Get ahead adequately on certain items Ideal Characteristics for this position: Quick mental math Gentle product handling Efficient/fast Detail Oriented Eye for Quality High quality short term recall Good spacial reasoning Ideally has experience in retail and/or food service Interested?
